What can i expect out of mode 2, 93 octane. Horsepower difference if any. should I make any necessary equipment changes from OEM before having LAP3 installed such as intakes, plugs, wiring
If you are talking about the LAP3 ECU tune in general, HKS m45xl plugs and 5w40 oil are a requirement to run safely the tune.
You can add any bolt ons later and the ECU will automatically adjust. An oil catch can is highly recommended even without a tune if you don't have one already. Also, even though it isn't a requirement, many users suggest to swap the factory EBCS for the wastegate with a Borgwarner unit (BTR sell them with a plug and play harness) and a MAC solenoid for the BOV/BPV since the OEM parts don't deal so well with the extra boost and heat. They will prevent stuttering and bucking effect which are a common occurrence when tuned and make the car run smoother.
As for horsepower, it depends on the car and the bolt ons installed. LAP3 advertises some power figures but the car used on their dyno isn't stock and has full bolt ons.
